Newly hired ALIVE/ISAL teachers-asaatidz undergo 5-day in-service training

Newly hired Arabic Language and Islamic Values Education (ALIVE) or Islamic Studies and Arabic Language (ISAL) teachers-asaatidz under the Madaris Education subsector of the Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education have undergone a series of 5-Day In-Service (In-Set) Training that began on Monday, January 18, 2021.

The series of trainings will be conducted by batches to all schools divisions in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.

Said training aimed at (1) enhancing the facilitating skills, (2) enriching knowledge, attitudes, and values on the different teaching strategies or methodologies, and (3) establishing camaraderie between and amongst ALIVE/ISAL teachers.

First batch of participants were from the Divisions of Maguindanao I & II, particularly from the municipalities of Ampatuan, Datu Abdullah Sangki, Datu Saudi, Datu Unsay, Guindulungan, Mamasapano, Shariff Aguak, Shariff Saydona, and Datu Hofer; they already finished their training that was held on January 18-22, 2021.

This week, the 2nd batch of participants are from the municipalities of Datu Anggal Midtimbang, Talayan, Datu Salibo, Buluan, Datu Montawal, Datu Paglas, Datu Piang, Pagalungan, Paglat, Sultan sa Barongis, and Mangudadatu.
