The Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education, through its Directorate General for Madaris Education, simultaneously conducted the 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞 (𝐈𝐒𝐀𝐋) 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 in the province of Lanao, including Marawi City.

The signing of contract, which began Saturday, June 5, 2021, aims to lengthen the presence of religious educators and recognizes Islamic studies as a venue for balanced education among Bangsamoro learners.

Of the 737 ISAL teachers renewed, 𝟑𝟑𝟔 were from Lanao Sur 1, 𝟑𝟓𝟓 from Lanao Sur 2 and 𝟒𝟔 from Marawi City.

An orientation was held thereafter which talked about the content of their contract, the hiring of new batch of ISAL teachers and the increase of their monthly salary from P12,000.00 to P16,200.00.

Renewal of ISAL teachers from the island divisions will follow and begin on June 8, 2021.
