307 Islamic Studies and Arabic Language (ISAL) teachers were renewed in the BARMM’s island schools divisions of Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, and Lamitan City.
Of the number, 119 were from Basilan, 76 from Sulu, 63 from Tawi-Tawi, and 49 from Lamitan.
The activity was the final series of the Renewal of Contract of Service and Orientation for ISAL teachers conducted by the Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education, through its Directorate General for Madaris Education.
𝐀 𝐭𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝟏,𝟓𝟏𝟎 𝐈𝐒𝐀𝐋 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐞 (𝟗) 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐌. Under their new contract, these teachers will receive a monthly salary of P16,200.00.
