MBHTE-Madaris Education Director General is the Baccalaureate Speaker at the CFCST 44th Commencement Exercises

More than 700 graduates of different bachelor degrees listen to the message of the Director General of Madaris Education, MBHTE, BARMM today, July 3, 2023 at the CFCST Gymnasium in Doroluman, Arakan, Cotabato.

Director General Tahir G. Nalg is the Baccalaureate Speaker of the CFCST 44th Commencement Exercises where he talked about the importance of education in Islamic perspective. He mentioned that “in the universal ecosystem, human plays the greatest role vicegency an in order for man to perform that trust, Allah taught Adam the “names” of things.” The first revelation and the first commandment from Allah to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was to ‘Read’ which connotes studying,” he further elaborated.

DG Nalg continued by saying that Islam encourages its believers to be critical thinkers to comprehend Allah’s creation (Qur’an 3: 190-191) and one can only be so through Education. He quoted Albert Einstein who said that ‘education is not only the learning of the facts but training the mind to think’”! “With these teachings of Islam, we can only conclude that Islam is not a mere religion per se but a complete system of life, he explained.

Among the attendees were the CFCST President, Dr. Ali K. Dilangalen; Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Harris Sinolinding, Deans of the different colleges and other officials.

DG Nalg thanked the CFCST Management for giving him the opportunity to become part of this momentous event. While congratulating the graduates and their parents, he continued to encourage them to further their studies to become specialists of respective fields.
